快科技4月3日消息，Ubuntu 26.04 LTS (Resolute Raccoon)现已基本完成Beta测试，即将在4月23日正式发布。 不过即便是内存不够6GB，Ubuntu 26.04依然是可以安装的，比如 曾有用户在2GB内存笔记本上安装过Beta测试版，只是无法完全流畅。

IT之家援引博文介绍，Ubuntu 在 2012 年发布的 12.04 LTS 发行版中，最低内存运行要求仅为 512MB 内存，随后在 2018 年提高到 4GB，而在 Ubuntu 26.04 LTS（预估 4 月 23 日发布）中再次提高到 6GB。
